OBITUARYTonderlearo Tee Ray Surida, peacefully departed this life in the early morning hours on Thursday July 4, 2013. Tonderlearo was born May 28, 1973 to Charles and Lucille Surida. Tee grew up in the Johnson Hill Community in South Arlington and attended Arlington County elementary and middle schools. She completed her education at Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia.Her infectious laugh and ability to find humor in the most serious situations is how she will likely be most remembered. A natural social butterfly, Tee was quick to make friends. She had a heartfelt passion for her family, movies, and her job. Her most notable work was that of service, as well as being mother to three daughters. She worked the majority of her adult life, 19 years, as a Dietary Aide at Manor Care Nursing Home located in Alexandria, Virginia. The youngest of her siblings, Tee was determined to be heard. Though she often displayed a tough exterior, her feisty spirit quickly became endearing to everyone she encountered. After spending any amount of time with her, you quickly recognized that her big heart was extremely soft. Tonderlearo leaves to celebrate her life, her beloved partner, James Lovitt, mother~Lucille Robinson; daughters~Misty Surida, Destiny Surida & Bridgette Surida; Sisters Sheila Surida Nate Scales, Moneca Surida-Clyburn Reggie Clyburn, Diane Surida-Middleton Dale MiddletonAnita Burton Russell Burton, brothers Nathaniel Surida and Charles Surida Gayle Surida, Tonderlearo, leaves six nieces & nephews ~Charlie Surida, Christian Middleton, Cayla Middleton, Sydney Burton, Kayla Burton and Reiss Clyburn. She leaves one great nephew ~Mekhi Surida, a host of cousins and many beloved friends.
