84, of Springfield, VA passed away at Greenspring Village on November 22, 2009. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Schmitt and son, James E. Naylor. She is survived by her son, Jack Naylor and step-children, Wayne D., Dan R., Nancy J., Monti P. and Gary J. Schmitt, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was retired from U. S. Army Mobility Equipment Research and Development Command at Ft. Belvoir, Va. And received numerous awards during her career. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on December 4th, 2009 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1301 Collingwood Rd., Alexandria, Va. where she was a long time member and sang in the choir.
