I am so saddened to hear this about Lenny. I knew him in Rochdale Village. His love of basketball, playing cards and his sense of humor resonate with me today. Lenny and I were members of the House of Stone, a houseplan, while we attended Queens College. He was in the US Army Reserve during the Viet Nam War. I lost contact with him, but several years ago members of our houseplan I vividly remember that afternoon. May his name always be a blessing and give comfort and calm to his lived ones.

  4. Gerald Gononsky says:

So sorry for your loss. Spoke to Roy, as he mentioned him in the past and had some good memories of him when they worked together in Co-op #2.

  5. Linda Habenstreit says:

Len was a great guy! He was intelligent, hard-working and kind. Neal and Len exercised together at the JCC and then went for coffee afterward. Neal also went with Len and his friends to baseball games. Len did our taxes for at least 20 years. He worked very hard to get us the best refund possible—all within the limits of the law of course. Len will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him. May his memory be a blessing and May he fly with God’s Angels.
