Florence Heckman, 79, of Arlington died March 12, 2018 at Capital Caring Hospice.
The family will receive friends at 11:30am, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Lutheran Church of Reformation, 212 E. Capital St. NE, Washington, DC 20003. A Life Celebration service will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery, Kutztown, PA, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 1:30pm.

Marian Davis, 1960 Gettysburg College classmate of Flossie, sends her condolences to the Heckman family.
Flossie, Marian (still using walker following April 2014 accident), Anne Heckler Kline (in Colorado this month) Joan Wachob Norris (at home in Florida), and Beverly Mears Stang would meet once a year to share old memories and to make new ones. Lots of laughter!
Be assured of my thoughts and prayers. Flossie’s strong faith and dedicated to service to God will continue to inspire many people.
