Evelyn D. Clark, age 99, died February 16, 2007 at Mount Vernon Nursing Center in Alexandria, Virginia. She was born January 3, 1908 in Warren County, Virginia to Ernest E. Dellinger and Brentie Ridgway Dellinger. Mrs. Clark was retired from the United States Postal Service and volunteered at the Smithsonian Institute. She was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church in Alexandria. She is survived by her niece, Joan McNeil of Leesburg, VA; a great-niece, Kimberly McNeil of Alexandria, VA; her beloved friend, Peggy Powell of Front Royal, VA; the Beall families of Pennsylvania; the Davis families of Colorado and Florida; the Clark families of Maryland and several cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 3 PM at Bennett’s Chapel in Front Royal, VA. Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 11 AM at Panorama Memorial Garden in Strasburg, VA
