Eileen B. Thompson, 87 of Laurel, MD formally of Alexandria, VA died at Washington Hospital Center on January 17, 2012.She is preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt P. Thompson; and one son, Donald Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Eileen Pettit, one grandson, Brian Pettit and one great granddaughter, Sarah Eileen Pettit. The family will receive friends at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria VA on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6-8pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria VA.
