Dorothy R. Weeks, 91, of Lorton, died June 18, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. Born April 21, 2017 in Washington, DC to the late Stanley and Elizabeth Armitage. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Milton G. Weeks.She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Bilko; grandchildren, Steven A. and Stacy A. Cook; great-grandchildren, Steven A. and Xavier Cook; step-great grandchildren, William and Jacob Free. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Harrison. Services are private.

My deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Dorothy Weeks. Having suffered the loss of family and friends, I know firsthand the pain and turmoil of emotions we go through during times like this. Something that brings comfort to my heart is the hope found in the Holy Scriptures in Isaiah 25:8 & 33:24 that says: “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. “And no resident will say I am sick” Yes, these are promises from our Creator that for sure will come true. May the hope of living forever in a Paradise earth where death and sickness will be no more give you the strength that you need during this difficult time.
