Claude S. Grimes, 88, of Alexandria died August 25, 2017, at ManorCare Alexandria.  He is survived by his children, Mary Ann Grimes, John Adam Grimes, Matthew Swanson Grimes, Paul Anthony Grimes, and Mark Timothy Grimes; grandchildren, Zanetta Langley, Demetrius Langley, Emily Langley Garbla, Matthew Swanson Grimes, Jr. Phoenix Rose Grimes, Harper Grace Grimes, Dejean Grimes, and Mark Timothy Grimes, Jr.

Mr. Grimes was a memeber of Rise and Hope Baptist Church, Alexandria, VA.

Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
