Bert E. Tylen”Swede” passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2007, surrounded by his family. Bert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Anne Tylen. Father of Christine Bowling and Theodore A. Tylen. Grandfather of Steven Payne, Erik Bowling, Kimberly Cordia, and Theodore Tylen, Jr. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2007 from 7-9 PM at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Alexandria, VA.
