“Charles Kevin Deckard – Kevin, as he was known to friends and family – was a lover of education, history, the outdoors, classic rock music, and his church. He passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. He is survived by daughter Mara, sister Norita, and brother Mark.
Visitation and a Memorial Service will be held at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home at 811 Cameron Street in Alexandria, VA on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4pm – 8pm.”

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Kevin from Herndon United Methodist Church at Herndon Va.
He was our Sunday School Teacher for several years. We were all amazed at his knowledge of
historical and geographical information. He also was well traveled and had photos of many places he visited. Kevin was always willing to volunteer for many missions our church was involved in. May he rest in peace.
Kevin was a true Christian man. I knew him for the Herndon United Methodist Church where he was always volunteering at the Food Pantry.
So sorry for your loss. We loved Kevin so much! He will be missed.
