  32. Colonel Clement Iyere says:

I was suprised to hear this shocking and sordid news! In retrospect, in Command Secondary School, Kaduna. Nigeria. Dragon House, to be precise. “Monkey Joe” as we use call you back in the days cos you were very good in sports activities. Equally, we used to clown alot cos after my birthday 2 Sept comes yours! Now you have gone and left this sinful world….to a better place with God. No one has premonition about death else I guess your awesome nature would have usurped it. “Monkey Joe”, we spoke about 18 months ago but never knew I will see no more! Anyway, God knows best, only Him knows the appointed time for us all to be born and also come to rest with Him after playing our roles on earth. You lived a good life. Rest in Peace Bro. God bless your family.——— Colonel Clement Iyere Nigerian Army

  35. Joseph Rotimi Osimokun says:

Gbenga, I am both shocked and saddened to hear of your passing. I have so many memories of our youthful escapades at boarding house. The best thing I s that the memories I have of you at this stage are only good ones. Like when we ran around in the back fields of the hostels, played soccer “pala” in the abandoned blocks and hid from seniors in the old assembly hall – Nostalgic….

We will miss you….. Rest In Peace brother.

And my condolences go out to Lioubov, Nadia, mummy and daddy Akintuyi…. May God give you the strenght during this trying time.

From me Rotimi Osimokun and all Gbenga’s college friends – DRAGON HOUSE, COMMAND KD.
