Condolence Messages

  1. Mary Brown-Wery says:

I’m not ready to accept that you are gone. As I drove to the hospital that morning a sudden and serene feeling of peace came over me at 6:02 a.m. I knew you were gone. I felt you. I was at the hospital when they pronounced you gone. That night, on the way home I took a wrong turn and when I corrected my path a huge, bright shooting star shot right above my car. Pattie and I simultaneously spoke. Pattie said “what was that?” and I said “look a shooting star” Pattie said she had never seen a shooting star before When I shared this with Lissa she said you saw a shooting star in Washington and said you had never seen one before. I know you gave us these gifts to let us know you are at peace and you are happy, but I still cannot accept it or understand it. I still cannot believe that my sister is gone. We were supposed to all grow old together. 65 years old is WAY TOO YOUNG. We had no warning. I am so grateful you were able to spend quality time with your Precious Angels in Washington and that you got to see your Precious Angles here in Virginia. I don’t know what they will do without you. You love all of those sweet children so very much, they are the most important people in your life. Thank you for being an awesome Aunt to Chase and Garison, they love you very much. Brian misses his “Bootsie”. None of us can believe you’ve crossed over. It’s not fair. My heart and prayers are with our entire family, but especially Jim, Lissa, Kim, Savannah, Faith, Ava, Paige, Gracelin, Aiden and Carter.
