Virginia B. Brookins

Virginia B. Brookins, 93, of Springfield, VA died March 2, 2017 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital. She was born August 18, 1923 to the late Candido and Ignacia Aboitiz, in Vancouver, Washington. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse of 20 years, John Brookins, and sister, Maria Margarita Margeeson.She is survived by her children, John Fulkerson Toni, Jerri Andersen George, and Jackie Giovani; grandchildren, Alicia Jo, Mattias, Jacob, KerriAnn, Larry, Anthony, Cathleen, and Jaymie; great grandchildren, Ariel, Dylan, Caleb, Savannah, KaeCee, Gabriel, Brittney, Lorin, Cameron, and Caleb; and great great grandchild, Luna. She is also survived by her sisters, Niva Darby, Cecilia Furlong, and Inez Territo.Mrs. Brookins will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Bascque Society.
