Stephanie received many awards for her outstanding performance over the years. She was a Section Chief in the Human Resources Division at the time of her retirement in October 2009.Stephanie was kind, caring and generous and always concerned about the wellbeing of others. She was brave, stoic and methodical in her battle with cancer, approaching the treatment of the disease with the same organized task oriented manner that she applied in accomplishing any objective, whether that was shopping for food, preparing a meal, maintaining the house, planning and executing our finances,??? ???developing a data management system, or throwing a party. In lieu of flowers, Stephanie would be pleased to have donations made in her name to a wildlife organization such as the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, or to The Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Maryland.A private celebration of her life will be held at her home for family and close friends.
