MEMORIES OF OUR FATHER RONALD P CARTER
Things our father enjoyed:
1. ROOSTERS – had them all in the kitchen and living room (cookie jar, ceramics, etc.)
2. Yard Sales – looking for deals, but he would bring nothing but knick-knacks
3. Cookouts on the weekends – burgers, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob wrapped in foil, etc
4. Spoiled the Grandkids
5. Country Music (Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Tammy Wynett, Loretta Lunn, etc)
6. Classical Cars (model cars, antique vehicles)
7. Dallas Cowboys – would joke with him about the redskins (LOL)
8. Family Outings (Busch Gardens, Zoo, etc.)
9. Wonder Bread on Sunday mornings – pies, donuts, bread, etc. (before we woke up and he’ll be reading the newspaper)
10. Played on the Pool Table on the weekends which was in the basement
11. Pop Shop – for variety of sodas (we enjoyed)
12. Animal Lover – loved all animals
13. Pull his finger – he would let out gas (LOL)
14. Raised all of us by himself
15. Didn’t know how to shop for girl clothes (polyester…SMH)
16. Kids attended Calvary Baptist Church every Sunday (by bus)
17. Every Saturday – house chores
18. He loved the ladies and the they loved him
