Rhoda Claudia Wolff (Plattner) passed away on April 5, 2024, in Alexandria, VA. She was born in St. Louis, MO on September 1, 1933, to the late Louis and Bessie Plattner, and was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Meyers and Shirley Pultman. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Wolff Gilman (Russ), son Gary Wolff, her beloved granddaughter Emma Gilman, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rhoda was a first generation American and the youngest of three daughters. She was a happy and joyful child who became a sweet and caring adult. Her smile lit up every room and she provided warmth and compassion to all she ever knew. She was always curious about others and consistently led with kindness and love.
She will be buried at Garden of Remembrance, Clarksburg, MD, in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you remember Rhoda with a smile and, if you wish, a donation in her memory to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation
