Kristine J. Cultice passed on May 3, 2017 surrounded by family, friends and boundless love. She was born on December 16, 1957 in Wilmington, DE. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University CA in 1979 and received her M.A. in Health Administration from Chapman College CA in 1994. She married her loving husband, Bill, on August 14, 1983 in Redlands, CA. An extraordinary physical therapist, Kris was an advocate and practitioner of holistic care with a specialty in women’s health. She enjoyed a 37-year career helping her patients improve their quality of life. In 1984, she served as a supervisory staff physical therapist for the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games. Kris was a dedicated volunteer within her community and Burke United Methodist church, as well as an avid tennis player. Kris is survived by husband Bill of 34 years; daughter and son-in-law, Alyssa and Marshall Malcolm of Arlington, VA; son Will of Arlington, VA; parents Jay and Diana Johnson of Highlands Ranch, CO; brother David Johnson of Littleton, NC and sister Kate Wegher of Littleton, CO. A life celebration service of this remarkable woman will take place Saturday, June 3 at 9:00am at Burke United Methodist Church, 6200 Burke Centre Parkway, Burke, VA. Family and friends are welcome to attend, and invited to speak of how Kris touched their lives.
