Joram’s death was untimely and unexpected. On Tuesday, August 29th all the four children went to visit their dad in the hospital after receiving news that he was very ill. Joram was very emotional to see the state his father was in and felt so broken. He cried and repeatedly said his very common phrase to everyone “NDAKHUYANZA PAPA, MAMA” (translation: I love you dad and mom). On Wednesday, August 30th , they returned to the hospital and this time Joram was calm and collected however still felt helpless, all the time wondering whether there was anything he could have done to make his dad’s life better. On Thursday, August 31st, Joram spend most his day at home for it was his day off from work, he went to bed only to be found dead in the morning of Friday, September 1st , by his brother Charles whom they shared the apartment.
Joram was a kindhearted person, full of life and one with great sense of humor. He loved passionately and was always loyal to his family and friends. It’s a very sad event that leaves the family broken and confused as to what exactly took their beloved brother’s life so fast unpredictable like that. May God rest his soul rest in eternal peace.
