Erik A. Butler

Erik A. Butler of Indian Head, MD. passed away on February 9, 2022. Erik was a loving husband, wonderful father and an awesome friend! He is survived by his wife, Patti Butler, of 22 years, and 2 children, Savannah and Ciarra Butler. He is also proceeded in death by his parents, Margarita and Allen Butler, his brother Clinton McMutt all of WV.

Erik loved to spend time with family and friends, loved his football and TikToks. When Erik was not working or spending time with family he would be out on the water fishing or in the woods hunting! Erik believed in helping others and always being there when someone is in need.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Erik’s memory may be mailed to Patti Butler, 6115 Chicamuxen Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.

A Celebration of Life will be held at

MD American Legion Post 227, 13505 Cherry Tree Crossing Road, Brandywine, Maryland 20613 on

Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1pm – 5pm.
