Diane Fertman

Diane Fertman of Burke, VA passed away on February 1, 2019 at age 75. She was happily married for 54 years to her loving husband Norm. They have three daughters, Sheryl Fertman, Ellen (Bruce) Strain, and Laura (Matthew) Pierce, and two grandchildren, Brandyn and Josslyn Pierce.

She loved to travel the world, cook gourmet meals, and spend time with her family and long time dear friends that are like family. She enjoyed playing Social Bridge with friends and the “Bridge Group” of 40+ years, but it was more for being with friends than the card game itself. Diane cherished family vacations at the beach, which was one of her favorite places to be.
She is predeceased by sisters Joan Tomasino and Frances Goldfarb, along with parents Milton and Shirley Goldfarb.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on February 5, 2019, at Congregation Olam Tikvah (Fairfax, VA), followed by burial service at King David Cemetery (Falls Church, VA) at 1:30 PM.
