Cornelius Harris

Cornelius Harris, 71, of Fort Washington, MD died September 7, 2018 at Stafford Hosptial.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia Harris; children, Reginald Harris (Tawana), Cornelius Harris, Alex Harris, and Cornelius Alex Harris; grandchildren, Diamond, Deontae, Taja, Nina, and Aliah Harris, Taka and Keiran Guest.  He is also survived by his siblings, Frank Harris, Jr. (Teddy), Pearl Harris, and Leroy Harris. He is preceded in death by his sister,  Clearetha Harris. He is also survived by the Valentine Family.

He retired from the Washington, DC Metropolitian Police Department.  He also served in the United States Army, and was a member of the Fraternal Order Of Police.

His family will receive friends from 10:30am to 12:30pm, Monday, September 17, 2018 at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St. Alex. VA 22314. Interment will follow at Cheltonham National Cemetery 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD at 1:45pm.
