Clifford John Louison

Clifford John Louison died on March 6, 2022 at his home in New York City, NY. Clifford was born in Alexandria, VA on November 27, 1993 to Rodney Louison and the late Elizabeth Tracy Louison. Clifford grew up in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria and attended St. Rita Catholic School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. During high school and college, Clifford served as a lifeguard and Assistant Pool Manager for Arlington Public Schools. Clifford was a member of the Little Hunting Park Swim Team from the age of 5 to 18. From 2014-2017, Clifford was a Head Swim Team coach at LHP. He proudly led the team to an undefeated 2015 season, claiming the title of Division Champions.

Clifford attended Virginia Commonwealth University and later transferred to George Mason University where he made the Dean’s List and graduated in 2019 with a B.S. in Finance. Clifford was thrilled to be living his dream of moving to New York City with his partner, Erin Kim, and starting their life together. He loved the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoyed trying new restaurants, walking to his office in Rockefeller Center, and despite his performance, playing for the 2021 NYC Softball League.

Clifford was an avid historian and reader and loved to share his knowledge with his family and friends. His hobbies included experimenting in the kitchen, doing crossword puzzles, and watching sports. He was always up for a good time and a good debate.
