Cheryl Mae Lloyd

Cheryl Mae Lloyd, aka “Granny”, was born to Tyree Watson and Dorothy Mann on December 28th, 1946. She passed peacefully at home on April 24th after long battle with cancer. Cheryl was blessed with a large loving family. She is survived by her three children: Jonathan Lloyd, Milinda Petitt (Charles), and Teresa Lynn (Ray); her grandchildren: Shawn Lloyd, Heather McLaskey (Kyle), Haley Presley (Josh), Justin Petitt (Ashley), Jordan Petitt, Raelyne El-Nakeeb (Mo), and Rebbecca Lynn; her great grandchildren: Natasha, Jalen, Ava, Jayvion, Gracie, Lily, Laila, and Jackson; her sister Joyce Scherer, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Brenda Wilson, and her daughter-in-law Debbie Lloyd.

Her viewing will be held at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, in Alexandria, Va., on Friday, April 29th 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held there as well on Saturday, April 30th at noon followed by a graveside service at Mount Comfort Cemetery, in Alexandria, Va., at 1:00pm and her celebration of life at the Crystal City Sports Pub in Arlington, Va. at 2:00pm.
