Betty C. Krambeck (nee Carr) died, after a struggle with pancreatic cancer, on March 19, 2023, at her home in Alexandria, VA at the age of 83. Betty is survived by her husband, Frederick Krambeck, and her children John Krambeck, Valeri Trout and Holly Krambeck.

Betty was born July 26, 1939, in Clarksburg, WV to Robert and Margaret Carr. She graduated from Fairmont State College in 1961 with a degree in Education. After moving to Pittsburgh, she taught French and English at Penn Hills High School, and later accepted a position as Teen Program Director at the Wilmington, DE, YWCA. Betty married Frederick Krambeck, a Chemical Engineer, in 1964.

The couple moved to New Jersey in 1967 where they raised three children and pursued many interests. Betty is remembered by all as a very outgoing, engaging, and loving presence. A force of nature.

A Celebration of Life, officiated by Robert Krambeck, is scheduled for 1:00 PM April 29, 2023, at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA, with a reception to follow at the Old Dominion Boat Club, 0 Prince Street.
