Beth Elaine Patridge

Beth Elaine Patridge, age 64, passed away on October 11, 2018 at Capital Caring Adler Center in Aldie, Virginia.  She was born on December 14, 1953.  Beth graduated in December 1976 from Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA before entering the United States Navy in July 1977.  She completed 28 years in the United States Navy serving as a Naval Intelligence Officer and retiring at the rank of Commander.  Upon retirement, she began a second career as Director of Security, Argon ST, Inc. She enjoyed reading, volunteering at the National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV, spending time with friends, and traveling.  She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanette Millicent Patridge nee Richards in 1966 and father, Raymond Wilfred Patridge in 2014.  She is survived by her brother, William (Bill) Patridge, her long-time partner and friend, George Robert (Bob) Scott, and countless friendships she developed throughout her life.  Beth’s infectious laughter and love of life will always brighten the lives of all who knew her. She provided guidance and served as an example to those around her, especially her brother, Bill. Burial will be at a future date at the Arlington National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in honor of her on November 15, 2018 from 12pm to 3pm at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial (Women’s Memorial) near Arlington National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Caring (https://www.capitalcaring.org), The Women’s Memorial (https://www.womensmemorial.org), The Oasis Sanctuary (https://the-oasis.org/ ), or an organization of your choice.
