Tim L. Burnley, 58, of Alexandria, died on June 18, 2016 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Howard H. and Frances V. Burnley. He leaves behind his five sisters, and three brothers, Linda Sturgell, Marie Burnley, Peggy Willingham, Phyllis Archie, Becky Burnley, Wayne Burnley, Eddie Burnley, Steven Burnley. There are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, counsins, and great nieces and nephews, who will greatly miss him as well. Family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm Friday, June 24, 2016 at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St. Alexandria, VA 22314. A Life Celebration Service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 12pm, interment will be at Mount Comfort Cemetery at 1:30pm.

Nearly four months ago you met the Lord personally and went home to His Kingdom. I know how important home was to you and the directions you wrote out and went over with me so that I could make it home safely.
