Condolence Messages

  1. Gia Guidera says:

My deepest condolences to Frank and Judi on the loss of Susan. Susan and I have been dear friends for more than fifteen years, and my heart feels like someone threw it in a paper shredder. She lived an amazing life, travelled all over, met a lot of interesting people. For sure she had a life well lived. Most of all, her passions could be summed up in a few short words. Family, friends, music, teaching and horses. She was deeply loved by all who knew her, and it was an absolute honor. Will miss her forever.

Condolences to your family. May you receive comfort from the word of God during this time of loss. The Bible’s resurrection accounts give us a sure hope. Read John 11:39-44. Revelation 21:3,4 promises that one day death, mourning, and outcry will be no more. To find out more regarding the hope for the dead visit JW.org and search “death”.

n the George Mason University alumni magazine I noticed an obituary write-up about alumnus Susan Manola. I remember attending Sunday School at First Baptist Church, Alexandria, VA with a Susan Manola. After looking up the obit that had appeared in The Washington Post, I realized that she was the same Susan that I had known back in the 1960\’s. My memory of her is at a Sunday School-sponsored sleepover at a friend\’s home. Susan brought her record album of \”My Fair Lady\” and knew how to sing every word. That impressed me so much that I, too, bought an album and listened to it dozens of times until I could sing everything, just like Susan although not nearly as well!. A few years ago my husband and I attended \”My Fair Lady\” at Arena Stage, and I sang along quietly to every song. Thank you, Susan, for kindling in me an interest and enjoyment of musical theater! I\’m not a bit surprised that you continued your musical pursuits. Your students were fortunate to have you for a teacher!
