Stephanie Daine Boston was born July 31, 1964.  She was the 10th child of Russell and Bertha Boston of Alexandria, Virginia.  She passed away surrounded by family on June  8, 2017 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital.

She loved signing, dancing, skiing, musicals, and swimming (they called her the little mermaid).  She was an international traveler, traveling to Africa, for the international convention, to the Pacific, Europe and Central America.

Stephanie loved to learn and always excelled.  In elementary school she stood out for her singing abilities. In high school she advanced in her fluency in the Spanish language.  There she was also known as “Lady Di” for her gracious nature. As an adult she attended NOVA and got her associates degree in Business Administration.  Her professionalism was instrumental in helping her acquire several high security clearances.

She was always surrounded by friends. In their youth her twin brother Steven, her sister Bridgette and she hosted several formal events attended by many of their handsome by modest peers.

Stephanie’s greatest love though, was her heavenly Father, Jehovah God.  She took her service to him very seriously.  She was a full-time minister for many years, and used her Spanish to serve in the foreign field. She was happy to have been used by Jehovah to aid many to the point of dedication and baptism.  She continued to be of encouragment to them even after baptism, helping them to continue towards the “real life”.-1 Tim. 6:19

She had no children of her own, however she gave her nieces and nephews and other youth in the congregation much attention by hosting gatherings and providing other up building events.  To that end, she gained many children in the faith.-Mark 10:29

At the prime of life, Stephanie was diagnosed with a debilitating disease-Scleroderma.  This illness made the last 12 years very challenging.  Despite the long battle that ensued, she maintained a positive attitude, strived for balance, saw the good in people, and displayed love and kindness.  She continued to participate in the ministry, prepared for meetings and participated by calling in or through text messaging her comments.

Although her outward appearance was fragile, she demonstrated strength and courage! May all of learn from the example she set; to show faith, hope and compassion in the worst of times, and to maintain grace and dignity despite adversity.

She was clearly loved by her parents, Bertha and Russell Boston, who preceded her in death along with her older brother Lloyd Wayne Boston.  She is survived by her siblings, -her twin Steven & Dawn Boston, Bridgette Boston, Kim Boston, Ron & Patricia Boston, Estelle Boston, Bettye & John Calloway, Russtine & Clarence Stewart, Guy & Karin Boston’ and many nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.
