    Dear Aunt Stella,
Growing up you were always my favorite aunt. You and my mom were so close so that made me love you even more. My favorite moments were when we would play barbies together and play, I would always look forward to seeing you every time you came to visit. After uncle jimmy and mommy died you fell into pieces. I think we all did. But I know for sure for you because my mom was your rock through so many things. After mommy died we didn’t see a lot of you and being 14 for me felt like my life was over as well. We never will know why things turn out the way they do but I do know that your in heaven now with uncle jimmy, mommy and grandma rose so I know your smiling again and that was my favorite part about you… your smile. I love you more then you’ll ever know. Until I see you again take care of them for me my angel.

Love your niece Robin aka ReeRee.

I had not heard from Stella in quite a while, but I was concerned when our Christmas card to her in December, 2021, was returned as undeliverable. I found this obituary notice via an online search. Stella and I had kept in touch for years since the MCI days. She always expressed her gratitude that I hired her for a salaried professional position, even though she had been an admin with no college degree. But she repaid my faith in her by doing a great job. We talked often, and even played a few games of chess at lunch (she was not a good player, but we had fun). I know the last few years had been hard, as she dealt with disabilities. Still, we talked and emailed over all these years, even discussing the books I have written since I retired. I considered her a friend. I know she is at peace.

My condolences to Stella’s family. I worked with Stella for many years back in the 90’s for MCI. We shared many good times and she was a big part of the MCI family back in the day! Rest in peace my friend!

  4. Rob Esche says:

I am just learning of your passing. I soooo remember your bright, funny and cheery face way back when we worked at MCI over in Pentagon City (and boy – has that aread changed!). You were so much fun to work with – always had a great disposition and you were always able to crack a joke at the right moment. Not only could you crack a joke, but you knew your stuff as well !!! You will be missed but you are always in our hearts.

  5. Andrew Bellamah says:
