Of Alexandria, VA passed away on September 8, 2010 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital. Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Coleman Y. and Marguerite B. Hoffman. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Maria Hoffman, sons, Michael Hoffman of Fairfax, VA, David Hoffman of Culpeper, VA, Michael Kominko of Cleveland, OH and Daniel Kominko of Alexandria, VA, brother, Richard Hoffman of Fairfax, VA, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Scott worked at the George Washington Estate. He worked for the US postal service where he retired as a supervisor. He also served in World War II. A visitation and celebration of Scott?s life will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 1-5 PM at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St. Alexandria VA. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 11 AM at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, 2006 Belle View Blvd. Alexandria, VA with the interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, VA.
