Ruby B. Thompson, 95 of Springfield, VA died at Greenspring Village on March 21, 2018. She was born in 1923 to the late Thomas and Annie Bryant. She was a CPA assistant by trade and love spending time with family and friends. Including her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, John F. Thompson Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, John Thompson and his wife Sara, and Steve Thompson; her nephews, Robert Rohr and Bob Bryant; and her niece, Allison Sanford. She is also survived by her 7 great nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria VA 22314 on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6-8pm. A life celebration service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 10:30am with interment following at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria VA.
