I just learned of Mark’s passing in the Cameron Station Compass. My husband and I appreciated his views on politics, particularly because we did not agree with him. He always was thoughtful and concerned about our country. We enjoyed his dogs and his friendliness. He will be missed.
I want to share my sorrow at Mark’s passing. He usually stays in contact, and I noticed we had not talked recently. Now I find he has died. What shock. What a wonderful. Mark was the Rock of Strength even when beset with his illness. He was my friend, mentor, story teller. I can imaging the pain his family must feel.
Although not with us physically, Mark lives with us forever through his teaching, his passion, his example, his ample love for his friends. He was a warrior for good. Let us continue to live following Mark’s example.
I am so sad I couldn’t say goodbye in person
We are saddened to learn about your family loss. May the God of all comfort help to ease the pain of your grief. With caring thoughts.
Mark was a mentor, colleague, gentleman and friend who will be greatly missed. Who could ever forget his stories of his days with Bella, or any of the other tales from his many adventures around the world and in politics? He will live on in the lives of those he touched and be forever remembered for his desire to teach those willing to learn from his great experiences in life. I will you Mark and be forever grateful for your mentorship and friendship.
It was with great sadness that i learned of Mark’s death. He was truly one of the good guys. He was dedicated to ISRI and to working hard to do what is right for the organization and as importantly for society and the environment. I will miss our regular conversations about Washington and how to make it better place for all of us. Mark you will be missed by many. You added great value to all and society.
