  7. Greg Martin says:

CDR Malcolm a true pioneer, mentor, and leader. He will be sorely missed. As one of the few black men or women with the CG wings of gold he provided this then young black HH65 pilot with valuable insight and confidence. His pearls of wisdom enabled me to have a successful career as a CG pilot which ultimately saved lives. A true American Hero and Trailblazer who alway took the least traveled path. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with his family.

    LCDR Gregory Martin, USCG, Ret.

  8. Don Leer says:

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ralph’s family as they go through the loss of this great and kind man.

He was a man of many talents and will be missed by a lot of people. He was my coworker and partner in the FAA. He was a most kind and thoughtful gentleman who always had a kind word for all who came in contact with him.

I had the privilege and honor of working closely with Ralph for over two years. In that short period of time he made more of an impact on me than any other person I had the pleasure of working with.

He had a way of taking the most complex problems and breaking them down to their simplest form and solving them. His Favorite Saying at work was, “I’ve seen a thing or two and I’ve done a thing or two! This is not rocket science!”

He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to spend time with him.

Rest in peace Ralph until we meet again old friend!
