Pura B. Lopez Age 92 of Fairfax, walked through the gates of heaven May 3, 2017 at Capital Caring Hospice. She was born August 3, 1924 in Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Valentin Lopez Carrillo. She joins her sisters, Mary Agosto and Rosie Berlanga. Pura dedicated her life to serving the Lord and loved to garden. She worked for the Library of Congress for 30 years.She is survived by her daughters: Isabel Craddock Jeff and Rosa Lopez; Grandchildren: James, Michael, and Andrew Caetto, Angela Ahearn, and Josh Craddock; 7 great grandchildren.A Life Celebration Service will be 11am, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St. Alex., VA 22314. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Pura, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. This occurs, especially when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, take confidence in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too.
