| Oscar A Lopez, 92, of Alexandria VA passed away Oct 12, 2018 at Inova Mt Vernon Hospital, Alexandria. He is survived by his longtime partner Maria Adriano; son, Oscar Claudio (The Netherlands): nephews Pablo, Martin; nieces Marcela, Monica; grandnephews Francisco, Maria Jesus, Santiago; grand nieces Marina & Celina (Argentina).
He will be greatly missed by his beloved dogs Millie & Milo. He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar Lopez Mendez & Maria Carmen Magallanes; brother Mario Walter and sister Elsa. Oscar was a greaduate of The School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He owned and managed an international shipping company. Oscar loved the ocean and was an avid swimmer and world traveler. Visitation service will be on Friday October 19, 2018, 4-6 pm at The Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lombardi Cancer Center, Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC. |
