On June 3, 2009 in Alexandria, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Keane. Mother of Barbara Dailey and Darlene Boran. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 10 am to 12 pm at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, Virginia where funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
Barbara & Darlene, I will never forget the day me and mom came to visit and to take Aunt Olivia out to lunch. Mom dared me not to pick up the check. When the check came both of our mom’s grabbed and fought over it and ripped it to pieces. I laughed so hard watching both of them I was almost in tears. I asked the waitress if she would write up a new check and to please give it to my mom. Mom was really looking forward to treating us to lunch that day. Today, all we have is our memories and the wonderful times our families have shared throughout our lives. Aunt Olivia was the sweetest aunt in the world. As she took her journey into the heavens of our Lord, she is whole again and in peace. We will sure miss her. Love to all of you, Darlene & Wayne
