Marcella Anderson, of Alexandria died peacefully in her home on Sunday, July 26, 2015.Born in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of William and Gertrude Anderson, Marcella moved to Alexandria in 1972. She maintained a studio at The Torpedo Factory since 1976.She is survived by her spouse, Danielle Zwicker. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alexandria Art League or Capital Caring Hospice. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

So sad to hear of Marcy’s death. She was a phenomenal artist, a wonderful neighbor and friend. Marcy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
