To the Newton Family:
I’m so sorry to hear about Ms. Lavada’s passing. I met her in 1999 when I first starting working in DESC. When I first saw her I thought what a beautiful older woman. When we talked, I thought what a beautiful and kind spirited woman. She talked to me as if we had been friends forever. I will miss her, however, she is with God who is rolling out the red carpet for his queen child. I will keep you and the family in my prayers.
May God bless and watch over the family during this difficult time.
Dear James and Norma,
I’m so sorry for your loss. LaVada was one of the sweetest people I knew. I often thought of her and her stylish way of life. She was simple beautiful, inside and out and admired by many. I truly enjoyed my time with her when I was worked in Alexandria.
