Kenneth L. Moore, Jr. 48, of Alexandria, died April 19, 2019. He was born January 28, 1971 in Kentucky to Kenneth L. Moore, Sr. and Mary Jo Withers. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Charlene Moore; children, Eric and Colten Moore, Lauren, Allison, and Megan Grondine; sisters, Wanda Lopez, and Kathrina Jenkins.
Mr. Moore was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who loved his country, barbecuing, offroading, and woodworking. He will be truly missed by all.
The family will receive friends from 10am-11am, Friday, April 26, 2019 at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St., Alex. VA 22314. The Life Celebration service will begin at 11am followed by interment at Columbia Gardens, Arlington, VA. I’m sorry to have heard that you weren’t feeling 100% all the time. I’ve heard other stories of close ones who’ve struggled throughout their lives and you always think “I had no idea,” or “I never could have seen this coming.” You were a dear family friend and you will be sorely missed. I know your family will love and miss you forever as well as those who have been blessed to have known you. Rest In Peace, sir.

Ken, words are not enough to say how sorry we are for the struggles you endured. We loved your jolly, passionate personality and we are all so sad for you. Thanks for all the memories :). You are truly one-of-a-kind, and we were so lucky that we got to meet you in 2008 and we got to share the times with you that we did have.
Charlene, Lauren, Allie, Eric and Colten, we know it will be hard, but now’s the time to lean on all the wonderful memories of love, fun and adventure that each of you had with Ken and together as a family. All of you have a piece of him in your hearts. We hope that will eventually comfort you.

My condolences to the family of Kenneth Moore, Jr. Our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah, has given us the wonderful assurance that we can see our loved ones again by of a resurrection to an earth transformed into a beautiful paradise. (Acts 24:15). We can always rely on the God of comfort to help us endure any trials or obstacles, especially the painful loss of a dear loved one.
