On Monday December 3, 2012 in Fairfax, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Algie Waldo and Agnes Mae Halfhide, her husband, William Joseph Ambrose, Sr., her son, Mark Eugene Ambrose and her sister, Phyllis Jean Rawlings. She is survived by her chidren, William Joseph Ambrose, Jr., Richard Lane Ambrose, David Wayne Ambrose, Thomas Waldo Ambrose and Patricia Ann Jones. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA . A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Mount Comfort Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
