Joseph Franklin Donnelly, 89, of Springfield, VA, passed away on December 12, 2021.  Born in Baltimore, MD, on March 20, 1932.  Survived by his wife of 60 years; Margaret Donnelly, daughter Lori Donnelly Espinoza, sister Jeanne Wenger, brother Jack Verleger, and many loved nieces and nephews.  He graduated from the University of Maryland, and served in the United States Navy for 4 years.  Joseph worked as a Contract Director and later Information Technology for Comsat & Anteon.  Funeral services will be held on December 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 4801 Ravensworth Road, Annandale, VA 22003.  Burial will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Annapolis, MD.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church or a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
