I am so sorry to learn of John’s passing. I have nothing but good memories of him. He was a great friend to the Wilkins family, both on and off the water. My heart goes out to JoAnne and his family. With deep sympathy, Caroline Wilkins

I am so sorry to hear of John’s death. I have known him for 30 years, as he skillfully and calmly handled my financial and tax situation while I moved from China to the UK to the US to Hong Kong to Belgium…. He was always in good humour, always found a practical resolution to problems, and I totally and absolutely relied on his good judgement and thoughtful advice. He telephoned me personally to tell me of his decision to close his office and the reasons why and I was so very sad to hear it. He was a trusted advisor and, I hope, also a friend, the kind of person you are always glad to hear from! I was convinced we would meet up over this side of the ‘pond’ at some point to watch a race and am ever so sorry that will not happen now. My sincerest condolences to his entire family.
