John H. Redd, of Alexandria, VA passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the age of 96.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he was a World War II veteran and Korean War veteran. Later, he graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He was a retired federal government employee working for the U. S. State Department in Washington DC as a special agent for investigations for over 35 years.
Survivors include his wife Mary, and his three children Barbara, Elizabeth, and John. His son-in-law Otto and Gerald, and his daughter-in-law, Mary Renee. He has five grandchildren, Katherine (Frank), Eric, Bronwyn, Ceara, and Shane.
He was a wonderful, devoted father and husband who enjoyed his family. His hobbies included reading, gardening, traveling, and singing karaoke.
Burial will be at Quantico National Cemetery in Virginia.
