John Edward Byrne ?Jeb?John Edward Byrne, 86, died on 11/17/11 in Hollin Hills, Alexandria, VA. He was the son of Harry Theodore and Mary Elizabeth Whelen Byrne. He was born 1/15/1925 in Bronx, NY. Survived by his wife, Beverly McKinley Byrne; brothers Monsignor Harry J. Byrne and William Irene Walsh Byrne of NY; and sons Peter Stacey Evans, David, John Martha Catlin, and Michael Byrne; grandchildren, Miles, Devin, Ryan, and Hannah Byrne, and Jeffrey Catlin. Mass at Good Shepherd Church, 8710 Mount Vernon Hwy, Alexandria VA, at 10:30 am, 11/21/11. Reception follows at Father Creedon Hall. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Friends of Dyke Marsh.
