Joel R. Kaswell, 78, of Alexandria, died on October 11, 2016 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital. A Graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM, October 14, 2016 at Judean Memorial Gardens 16225 Batchellors Forrest Road in Montgomery County Maryland, 20832.

The Family of Leah “Lee”(Kazlovski) Aronson and her daughter Evelyn Aronson Post wish to offer our heartfelt condolences. Lee was older Sister of our great-uncle Samuel “Sam” Kaswell.
We lost our beloved Mom (and Dad) and Nana in recent years. We want to reach out from our family to yours, and to know and learn more of cousin Joel and our remaining family.

My name is Joe Tate. Joel represented me 15 years ago in a very difficult and emotional time late in my career and he helped me from losing everything, and at least walking away with something. We lost touch and over the years and I was trying to track him down to let him know that I was doing okay when I learned of that he had passed four years ago..I am very sorry to hear this news, but if any in his family happen to read this, I really want you to know how highly that I regarded the man, and how thankful I am for all that he did for me. Godspeed, Joel. You were one of the good guys.

If this is Joel Kaswell the Washington, DC attorney, I knew Joel when I was a messenger at the law firm where he worked in the 1979/1980, Stiller, Adler, Schwatz and Kaswell.
