Joan Tribble Coe was born in Brooklyn NY on 8/11/1937 to Janet Babcock Tribble and Henry Tribble. Joan was raised by her mother and gradmother in Brooklyn NY in an apartment. During the summers she spent in Center Moriches NY at their home that was on an Senix Canal. Joan spent her youth boating and fishing for oysters with her dad. Joan attended Packer Collegiate Institute for Girls for high school and for 2 year college degree program. Joan met Charles Coe Sr. at the Navy yard and married him and moved to the Alexandria area in 1963 and resided in Belle view area. In 1965 the Coe’s bought their home in Hollin Hall. Joan had two children Nancy Elizabeth Coe on 3/23/1970 and Charles Coe Jr. Ched 8/23/1972. The Coe family spent time in Hollin Hall and at their weekend home at Blue Ridge Shores in Louisa County. At the lake house Joan again enjoyed her boating with her two sail boats. Joan and her family loved to travel as her kids were young and as her kids aged. Joan traveled to 49 states and out side the US. Joan did a lot of her travels prior to returning to travel with her children with her companion Reid Graham for more then 12 years. During these travels she did bird watching and traveled outside the US. Joan touched so many lives during her life she always wanted to help others our mother left us on 8/31/16 to be with the Lord. Joan Coe is survived by her Daughter Nancy Coe-Rubel, son-n-law David Rubel and her granddaughter Mikayla E. Clopper. Her son Charles Coe Jr Ched, daughter-n-law Kim Jones Coe and granddaughter Shellsea Coral Coe. Joan had extended family of Connor R Rubel, Courtney Rubel Irby, her husband Ben Irby and grandson Ryland Irby. She also was apart of Reid’s family Bonnie MacDougall and her daughter Carlin and her
