On March 14, 2007 at her home in Alexandria, VA. Jean retired as a civilian employee from the Department of Navy in 2000. She was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority, Christ Church in Alexandria, and volunteered with the Alexandria Red Cross. Wife of Glenn White, mother of Karen Helfrich, Glenda Paulk, Julie Dearborn, daughter of Richard and Mary Paul Tinney, sister of Richard Townsend. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 1:30 PM at Christ Church, 118 North Washington Street, Alexandria, VA.
