Isabel Serrano Haddad, age 89, of Arlington, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, May10, 2021. Isabel was born on April 3, 1932, in Valencia, Spain. She moved to the United States when she was in her early 20’s, and met her Husband, James Henry Haddad, on the beach in Spring Lake, NJ. They lived in West Windsor, NJ, for most of their lives, with their two sons. Isabel was very active in the local community and taught needle-point classes at the local adult community school. She was also an active member of the Spanish-American club of Princeton NJ and lead many of the group’s community-based activities. She was a founding member of St. David the King R.C. Church in West Windsor, NJ. In the summer, she loved spending time in Spain, on the beach in Playa de Gandia, with her children, grandchildren and beloved cousins. Mrs. Haddad is predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, James H. Haddad and survived by her sons, Fred and Francis Haddad; her daughters-in-law, Christine and Jessica Haddad, and her five grandchildren: Eve, Ian, Julia, Christian and Devon. Isabel was especially fond of spending time with her grandchildren and took great interest in their sports activities. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. David the King RC Church, 1 New Village Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550. Interment will follow on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM at New Willimantic Cemetery, 1700 W. Main Street, Willimantic, CT 06226.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Haddad’s memory to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, PO Box 872, Trenton, NJ 08605.
