Bridget, Joe, and family,I never had the delight of meeting your gorgeous little boy…but have followed his growth through the beautiful Christmas cards you have sent to Mom and Dad.I would like you to know that one of the first things I thought when I heard your devastating news is that you never lost a moment of enjoying him and the rest of your children. You so obviously treasure them and celebrate the every minute of joy they bring to your life…Thinking of you and sending love and prayers,Elizabeth

  8. Ann Furay Poelzl says:

To the Thill Family,We are sending our love, our prayers, and our expressions of sympathy from our family to yours. When Clare died you shared this with us:We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. With love,Ann, Joe, and the Poelzl family

  20. Neighbor says:

May Grant R. Thill RIP, at times the painful blow to the heart from death can be so great that it crushes the spirit towards any hope, in despair and grief let God’s word cushion the blow with the helmet of salvation in Hope found in his Word the bible, “but I would not have you to be ignorant, brethen, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope” 1 Thessalonians 4:13
” Our Father in the Heavens let your name be sanctified. Let your will take place, as in Heaven, also upon Earth.” Matthew 6:9,10; Psalms 37:11; John 5:28,29; Psalms 115:16

  21. Anonymous says:

You should know that Grant is an angel now. Like so many other children who have been taken from the world before anyone was ready, he is now fulfilling an important otherworldly role. His angel eyes and guiding hand will protect countless living children in those moments when no one else can. You will miss him, and you should. Just know he did not live and die for naught.
