Glenn Roel C. Agustin

Glenn was born in Manaoag, Pangasinan,Philippines on March 29, 1960 to Jose Agustin and Consuelo Carino. He passed away on March 28 at age 60 in Arlington, Virginia after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

He is survived by his wife and college sweetheart, Elsa Patriarca; his two children, who were the joys of his life, Nadine and Lance ; his mother, Consuelo Carino; and his (6) siblings and their families: Jocelyn Deleon, Dinah Pinlac, Cheryl, Ariel, Janet Abelon, and Jose,Jr.

Glenn was an exceptional student. He was elementary valedictorian, high school salutatorian and a college scholar. He loved to write and was editor-in- chief of his high school organ.

He was a Certified Public Accountant and spent most of his professional life in the banking industry. After college, he worked at Far East Bank in 1981 then later joined Philippine National Bank, rising from the ranks, until his retirement in 2016, after a 35-year career.

He enjoyed travelling during the latter years of his life with family. He loved watching basketball, boxing, and mixed martial arts and can be so engrossed in a match that you can’t speak to him until the match ended. He enjoyed singing karaoke with Dire Strait’s “Sultans of Swing” as a constant part of his repertoire.

Glenn was a devoted father and husband. He’d frequently say “Madaming loko diyan” as his way of telling his family to keep safe when going out by themselves.
He was a beloved son, sibling, husband, father, and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Glenn’s remains lie in repose at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, Alexandria, Virginia. There will be a private online viewing on April 3, 2021, 1:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), and an online memorial service, Saturday, August 10, 2021 at 9:30 AM. All are invited to attend or join Zoom Link

Condolence Messages

  1. Jo, Tony and Marc says:

It hasn’t been easy… I am still having a hard time accepting that you’re already gone, my dear brother. I tried my best to connect with you every opportunity I got to give you encouragement and fight your ailment. I prayed hard and hoped that the Lord would give you even just a few more years to be with your family and enjoy life. I even prayed for a miracle! But I guess our Lord Almighty did not want you to suffer anymore and wants you with Him. I know all the why’s will be answered and the heartaches will heal as time goes by…and the consolation is that you’re not suffering anymore, but instead in peace. 🙏
    Elsa, Nadine and Lance,
We love you! Be strong! Lee maybe gone, but his memories will live on in our hearts forever. He will be your guardian angel to watch over you.May he rest in eternal peace. 🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖

Its been two weeks since I learned of Kuyang Lee’s passing. While I saw with my own eyes his lifeless body on Messenger, hanggang ngayon d pa rin ako makapaniwala, I cannot find words to express my feelings. Elsa, Din and Lance, we love you just as much as we love him. I am in mourn yet my heart is saying that he is just away from home, as usual. We did not have good times everytime, but the love among siblings is there. Kuyang Lee will always be my one and only kuyang, strict yet protective, caring and concerned.
